BACKGROUND/OVERVIEW
Amazing Intelligence College is a fast growing educational institution. It started operation in 12th September, 2011.The school hitherto obtained provisional approval from the Kano state Ministry of Education to operate as a private institution. National Examination Council (NECO) and West African Examination Council (WAEC) approvals were obtained.
The school graduated her first set of seventy three (73) Senior School Certificate Examination (S.S.C.E) candidates on 2011/2012 academic session (14th July 2012). Till date eleven (11) sets of two thousand and sixty (2,060) S.S.C.E graduands have been produced by the college with outstanding success. Many of the students are now in various higher institutions of learning both within and outside Nigeria while others have graduated.
The college has seven (7) branches in different locations in Kano out of which three of the properties are owned by the college ( i.e Walawai Branch behind NNPC, Tarauni Local Govt., Gerawa Branch, behind Gidan Allo, Kumbotso Local Govt. and Dogon Rimi Branch, Hotoro, Nassarawa Local Govt.) .
The College will clock eleven (11) years old on 12th September, 2022.

• Primary education,
• Junior Secondary School (JSS) education; and
• Senior Secondary School (SSS) education (Science, Commercial & Arts).

PUPILS/STUDENTS POPULATION
The college has total population of 2,165 pupils and students across all the branches of AIC

As at today, the college has a total of 160 staff members as follows :

On this note, the college is making a great input into the Nigerian economy with the payment of Two million two hundred and fifty thousand naira only (N2,250,000.00) as salaries to 160 staff members that are part of Nigerian population which the government suppose to provide employment for. This has helped to reduce unemployment and crime rates.

SCHOOL FEES
As at 27th June 2019 the MOE through the KSPVIB approved the increment of school fees by 20% after unanimous approval by the entire parent body during the general PTA meeting held on the 22nd June, 2019.

SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME
The school has a scholarship scheme that allows a parent that has up to 4 children to pay 50% school fees for one of them.
On special request, the indigent ones are given 100% scholarship that covers only the school fees
Also, the less privileged that come through the village heads of the areas where the school operates are given 100% scholarship. ( Already, we have 4 from Hotoro North and 3 from Hotoro South).
A total number of 186 pupils are benefitting from this scheme. This is one of the social responsibilities that the college offers for its immediate environment.

WAEC AND NECO RESULTS (2019-2022)
From 2019 till date a total of 826 candidates sat for WAEC examinations and 730 candidates sat for NECO examinations as follows:

END OF THE YEAR ACTIVITIES
The college has since August 2019 started organizing befitting graduation reception for our graduating classes to control the crowd and avoid unwanted visitors. This has also stopped the S.S.S 3 graduands from organizing illegal parties after their final examinations.
This year’s S.S 3 graduation reception took place at El-Farhan event centre opposite Maryam Abacha America University, Hotoro G.R.A, Kano while the Nursery 2 , Primary 5 and J.S.S 3 reception took place at Maryam event centre, Opposite Police Station, Tsamiyar Boka Hotoro, Kano.

DEVELOPMENTS
On 30th July, 2021 the college commissioned an ultra-modern structure comprising 20 Nursery and Primary classes at Walawai quarters, Tarauni L.G.A. This accommodated our 3 branches at Naibawa, Tarauni and Walawai quarters hence reducing our branches from 12 to 9.
Also on the 15th February, 2022 another ultra-modern Nursery and Primary structure was completed close to our Secondary section at Gerawa qtrs. Hence our branches at Farawa and Yandodo A were merged with the one at Gerawa qtrs. This further reduced our branches from 9 to7.
The completion of these projects has made our pupils to have access to condusive learning environments. It has also relieved us of some of our rent expenses although transport services were introduced.

IN VIEW

PERMANENT SITE IN HOTORO
The management of AIC is looking at building another permanent structure in Hotoro with the view to creating conducive environment for our pupils and students in Hotoro and its environment.

INAUGUATION OF GOVERNING COUNCIL
The college also wants to establish a formidable GOVERNING COUNCIL which is going to be the highest decision and policy makIng body of the institution

ESTABLISHMENT OF COLLEGE OF HEALTH SCIENCES AND TECHNOLOGY
Come 2023 the college will establish AMAZING INTELLIGENCE COLLEGE OF HEALTH SCIENCES AND TECHNOLOGY.
